Welcome to our new podcast!

Greetings from Florida, the United States of America.

You are listening to Michael Pierce. I am the host of this new podcast. I am Assistant Professor of Education at Flagler College in Tallahassee. I teach certification courses to students who plan to be teachers in Florida. I also teach English as a second/foreign language to international students.

The purpose of this podcast is to create a link between my college students and some of the students in Patricia Wang’s 220 class at San Hsin High School, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

This is a class assignment for my students. They are required to practice communicating with learners of English.

You have been personally invited to listen to our e-communications. If you are one of Patricia’s students you are also invited to participate by adding your own voice. We would love to hear from you!

(If you are not a student in Patricia’s class, but you want to send us a voice file, we would enjoy getting your message. Simply send it to us by email attachment to sanhsin.practicum@gmail.com .)

Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy our podcast! Come back and visit us anytime. Have a great day!
